I really didn’t think a financial planner would be of any help to me. I do not have any money to invest or any kind of savings. I sat in a presentation awhile back and it did not help me because in the end they were trying to sign me up for something. I have to say that was not the case here. My planner met with me and I expected it to about lecturing me about saving like that Suzie on TV. My planner really listened to what I needed. I didn’t expect much but she came back with all this stuff. She gave me so much information like checking on my credit score for free and giving me information on how to get a secure credit card. She put charts together for me and showed me where all my money was going. I feel much better now and want to thank my planner. She was always so positive and never made me feel like my situation was hopeless.

Exceeding expectations…
I got a lot out of this experience. All I wanted was to figure out how to go to college when I have to take care of my baby all day. I mentioned a few schools and Lavinia looked into all of them and pointed out that there were online classes I can take. Since I had my baby girl I really didn’t think about planning for her if something happened to me. Lavinia helped me put a list together of the things I wanted and then showed me where I can go to get a free lawyer. I never filed tax returns because I made no money, but now that I have a baby, I might get some type of credit. I will definitely look into it. I would recommend this organization to everyone because I got so much out of it and I wasn’t expecting much. I could see Lavinia really wanted to help me and I felt so grateful that she spent so much time with me.
