Mr. Yerk is a Vice President and serves as a Wealth Advisor Associate for Neuberger Berman Wealth Management, responsible for helping in the design, implementation, and monitoring of customized investment solutions for clients and their charitable entities. Prior to this role, he held positions within the firm’s Investment Strategy Group and with Neuberger Berman Trust Company. In these roles he was involved in helping solve for a wide variety of investment management, trust and estate planning and taxation needs. He was also a member of the Neuberger Berman Trust Company Investment Committee. He received a BS in Finance and Accounting from Lehigh University, graduating with honors. In 2008 he was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is also a member of the CFA Institute, CFP Board, Investment Management Consultants Association, and the New York Society of Security Analysts.

 

Robert Hayden, JD, CFP®, CDFA™
Chairman of the Board of Directors and Co-Founder

Robert Hayden is Total Alignment Charitable’s chairman of the board of directors and is one of its co-founders.  In addition to his service to Total Alignment Charitable, Mr. Hayden also serves as the Managing Member and Chief Wealth Advisor of Total Alignment Wealth Advisors, a multi-family office firm servicing c-level fortune 500 executives, owners of large and complex businesses, private equity and hedge fund managers and other high net worth individuals with complex financial situations.  Prior to Total Alignment, Mr. Hayden gained experience in the estates group of a law firm, the Family Office division of a bank, and the Financial Planning division of a wealth management firm. His areas of expertise include advanced estate planning techniques, integrated tax minimization strategies, c-level executive compensation, complex matrimonial matters & impact analysis, asset protection and personal risk minimization.  From 2011-2014, Mr. Hayden served a full term as one of fourteen board of directors for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which is the authoritative standards-setting organization for over 70,000 financial planners in the United States.  He currently serves as an adjunct professor at New York University, where he teaches its Financial Planning Capstone course. Mr. Hayden has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal and has been published in various financial planning journals and law journals, including for the articles “TOLI Trouble,” which was featured in 2013 on wealthmanagement.com, “Trustee Delegations and the Prudent Investor Act: Filling the Gaps,” which was featured in The Rutgers Law Record’s Spring 2008 issue, and “Foreign Direct Investment, Trade and China’s Competition Laws,” which he co-authored for a feature in the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy’s Spring 2008 issue. Mr. Hayden was also a speaker at The American Bankers Association’s 2009 Advanced Trust Forum, where he spoke on the topic of Fiduciary Liability. Mr. Hayden is licensed to practice law in three jurisdictions and is completing an MBA at NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional and a member of The Estate Planning Council of Greater New York City, The Financial Planning Association, The District of Columbia Bar Association and The New York County Bar Association.

 

Dale LeMasters, CPA
Board Member and Co-Founder

Dale LeMasters is a board member for Total Alignment Charitable and is one of its co-founders.  Mr. LeMasters spent over 35 years at KPMG LLC, where he was a senior global partner until his recent retirement.  Mr. LeMasters has been an advisor to senior executives and board of directors at many public and private companies. Mr. LeMasters has significant knowledge in accounting and auditing, risk management and governance, international management and business development, operations and performance improvement, and strategic planning.  He is a demonstrated trusted leader and consultant with experience across major business functions in diverse industries and environments in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.  In addition to his board service with Total Alignment Charitable, Mr. LeMasters serves as Vice-Chair and Board Member for The Greater New York Salvation Army and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
